I came acrsos the TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race 4 when I was skipping TV channels, looking for something to keep me up at the ungodly time of the night. I remember having said that it looks interesting and so I gave it a try…

AND YES! It’s indeed an interesting show! Perfect for people who are suffering from insomnia since it gives you that dose of “funny” you need late at night when you have no one to talk to! (I watch RuPaul’s Drag Race in the middle of the night hihi :3 )

I was amazed at how talented these guys are! They do their own clothes (for the runway) and they can do make up better than I can! *claps*

AND of course, I had to choose a favorite..

And my fave would be the gorgeous Phi Phi o’Hara! She’s so talented and PHucking real! :) 

PLUS, he’s gorgeous-er less the drag! :”>

I am following Phi Phi on twitter (@PhiPhiOhara) and I came over someone’s tweet asking Phi Phi if his mom is Filipino.. And Phi Phi answered “Yup” :)) I immediately tweeted Phi Phi, asking for confirmation regarding his previous tweet.. It was more of a “one-in-a-million” case that Phi Phi would notice my tweet..

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT..

Aside from finding out that Phi Phi is part Filipino, what also made me jump in joy is that Phi Phi immediately replied to my tweet! Ohgahdohgahd I had to immediately tell my mom about the tweet (she’s a fan of the show as well!) =))

I tweeted two more things to Phi Phi and..

BUT wait, there’s more..

Gaaaaah I just had to share this! Phi Phi is so nice for replying and reading my tweets despite having thousands of followers!!

I hope Phi Phi visits the PHilippines soon and I swear I’d be there to see her! :)

My hair’s been the same way most of the time: plain straight, or sometimes wavy! I’ve been wanting to have a “hair make over” and I want something far from the usual and so I’ve been thinking..

The Ombre!

This is, I think, the usual ombre! But I think the color of the tip’s too light for my skin tone (coz I’m a bit “morena”).. And I don’t want the usual ombre color since I’ve been opting for something unique..

This one’s really pretty! Aside from being the unusual ombre combi, the tips are pink.. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK!!! My fave color.. So I’ve been considering this ombre.. But I don’t know if I can pull it off.. People might find me weird but this one’s really sooo cute!!

The tips of this one’s not too light and I might pull it off. But again, this one’s the usual ombre and having the usual would make one the “usual” person and I don’t want that. I want something different this time. Nevertheless, this would be my number 2 ombre choice!

I’d also love to try this hairstyle, long locks with full bangs!

Waaah my friends are encouraging me to go ombre, the one with pink-dyed tips!!

~Hmm but I have to think this over not just twice, but maybe even a million times! Maybe it’s time to step out of my comfort zone and try something that would not make me just another girl in the crowd! ;)

Our family’s one-day road trip to Pangasinan! :) We left around 4:30 in the morning and I can no longer remember what time we got there!

On our way to Pangasinan, we passed by a lot of “farm lands”! Aaah the roads are so much different from those around Manila, yeah?

We had a stop-over at Tarlac and had breakfast at Jollibee! I have loved this fast food chain ever since I was a little girl and I will forever do so! <3 Hot chocolate for everyone! We also had to stop at this place at Tarlac because, being a family of “camwhores”, we couldn’t let this photo opp pass by! We took pictures on and in front of trains “parked” on this spot!

After a few more hours, we’ve reached our destination: The Shrine of the Nuestra Senora de Manaoag or Our Lady of Manaoag.

One thing people do here is humbly pray for their own intentions as they light candles and place them on this stand.

We also heard mass. I’m not quite sure why but the mass we heard during that day was shorter (time-wise) compared to the usual mass. Nevertheless, we still have talked and listened to Him.

This just shows how much faith people have! This was taken during the priest’s final blessing. It’s been a custom in the Filipino tradition to raise one’s hand as the priest blesses the crowd with Holy Water.

Our Lady of Manaoag

This one’s taken outside the church. Too bad I wasn’t able to take a photo of the whole facade of the church. Must I say I wasn’t equipped that day. Lol. Needless to say, the church is a real beauty!

And hooray for a “me” photo! I wore a comfy dress, denim bolero, and my fave Keds during this trip!

I have been to this place for so many times already but I will never get tired of it! The atmosphere here is so much different from that of the busy city I live in! Perfect for those who are in need of relaxation and a break from the busy world! I feel like I should have taken more pictures, though! Oh well, this won’t be my last visit to this place!

There are so many wonderful places you can visit without having to travel so far from the city! I believe everyone should take time to discover these wonders at least once in a while!

IT’S DEFINITELY MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES. :)

P.S. we went to a beach after hearing mass.. just to take pictures. Yeah that’s how much we love pictures! <3

My mom encouraged me to join this summer promo and, being the bum that I am this summer vacay, I decided to join and had 2 of my girl friends join me! It was a photo contest so last April 29, 2012, my friends and I decided to have a mini “photoshoot” for the contest!
